Curriculum Vita

International Belly Dance artist from Germany. Professional instructor and performer.

From childhood on Eva was always interested in dance and foreign culture. Born and raised in Munich /Germany her first experience with Oriental Dance was when she came into contact with Greek folk dance and Tsiftetelli the Greek variation of Belly Dance. Her enthusiasm and dedication soon led her to the source of Belly Dance. She took classes in the Arabic original the Raks Sharki from Egypt. Relatively soon her passion for Belly Dance became her profession. She organised her own stage shows for example 1997 Orient for Kids the very first Oriental Show for children throughout Germany. This was also produced on video. Her international dance and teaching career has taken her to several countries such as Austria, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Egypt, Switzerland, Morocco, Tunisia, Croatia, Greece and India. She was married to an Egyptian dancer for six years. During this time she lived and breathed the dance, the culture and the traditions of Egypt.

2003 Eva discovered Bollywood Dance and the Indian culture. On stage shows she loves to do exciting crossovers between Indian and Oriental dance. Her biggest love is and will remain Oriental Belly Dance. For more than 30 years now she performs and teaches this very feminine dance. Her experience and proficiency has made her a very popular artist. With her sensual, expressive and sophisticated way of Belly Dance she conveys to her audience the joy which she feels herself when she is dancing.
